Dar Cebe

At first glance

Dar is an average height Veena, with pale skin and dark brown hair that deepens to black at the tips of her pointed ears. Her large, gray eyes are always lined with kohl, her prized makeup kit never too far from hand. Her fingertips are often calloused or traced with shiny scars - remnants from wielding magic too recklessly. Sometimes, she will smell of lemons and seaberry, traces of the balm she uses to help heal and soften the consequential wounds of her work.

What came before

There is a swathe of time and memory that Dar prefers to leave unsaid, so when asked, she will say that she is a product of the Thaumaturge's Guild in Ul’dah. From there, she fell in with a company of mercenaries who had need of her particular talents and lack of scruples.

What matters now

Dar takes delight in small and material pleasures. Tiny and intricate pastries, a well frilled dress, a perfectly executed spell. Dar spends her time working on research, both for her bar and clients, often delving into books and places that are anathema to others.

Ever plagued by sartorial vice, Dar is always too happy to drag your character through the markets and artisans, helping them find the perfect outfit for their occasion. Gossipy chats over tea or cocktails a plus. Tiny cakes required.

Bold Rebellion

Dar can be counted among the many who have had their homes torn apart by the Garlean Empire. While she is not immediately forthcoming about the events or places, Dar is fiercely motivated and eager to help any resistance movement.

Dar is a character who I’ve intended to be flexible enough to explore all different sorts of writing styles, from serious to slapstick. I’m open to darker or more mature themes, but I do ask to touch base first OOC before jumping right in.I’ve been roleplaying for over twenty years on various platforms and love seeing what unique characters and themes people bring to the table.I raid casually as well, typically as a GNB or DNC on an alt.I play on Brynhildr/Crystal, in the CST time zone.
